I just stumbled upon the Google.co.in page and saw this drop down menu for other search options.
I quickly checked it on other sites like Google.com ad other country specific sites but they were all looking as usual.

I just noticed a new change that Google has introduced to its custom search box and its results. It is now showing the image thumbnail of the image that appear on web page. It is being shown on the left hand side of the search results.
