It looks like Google heard this wish and has now come up with this brilliant concept in its
Google Voice service. It is now open to all for registration but still only works in US. The service was launched about an year ago and till now, it was only invitation based.
Now anyone can make use of the services offered by Google Voice.

- When somebody calls you on your Google number, you have an option of making all three of your phones ring or none.

- You can also change your phone operator/ provider without even changing your Google Voice number. In fact, Changing your operator of your work, home or mobile phone will not affect your reachability.
This way, you are saved from keeping track of voice mails on all three of your phones.

Read Your Voice Mails
Your voice mails get saved to your Google Voice account and you also get an email in your account. This way you can also read and search through your voice mail transcriptions.
